You can obtain a learner’s licence at 16. If you are under 18, written consent from a parent or guardian is required. Call us to plan when to begin your course.

You take the course, obtain your learner’s licence, and pass the SAAQ knowledge and road tests. After passing the road test, the probationary licence lasts 24 months. See Your licence journey for the steps.

After Phase 1 and passing the school’s evaluation, you can apply to the SAAQ if you meet its requirements, including the minimum age and vision test. The school evaluation is separate from the SAAQ knowledge test.

Theory builds your understanding of rules and road situations; practical lessons apply them behind the wheel. The program includes at least 24 hours of theory and 15 hours of practical training. Each program driving session includes 55 minutes with the instructor.

After holding your learner’s licence for at least 10 months. This SAAQ test is separate from your school’s evaluations.

After holding your learner’s licence for at least 12 months, successfully completing the course and passing the SAAQ knowledge test. Your progress and appointment availability affect the actual date.

Call your preferred location for an assessment. Have your training certificate and progress record ready so we can guide you through the next steps in your training.

The 2-hour on-road lesson gives you time to work on your driving. Tell us your goals: parking, city driving or returning to the wheel.

We offer road-test vehicle rental. Call before booking to confirm the test centre, date, vehicle availability and conditions. Renting a vehicle does not book your SAAQ test.

For a driving lesson, bring your valid licence and any glasses or contacts required by it. For registration or a transfer, call to confirm the documents needed. For a SAAQ test, follow the checklist in your appointment confirmation.
